It’s amazing how crowded or murky your mind can get when you experience weekends like this past one. I am working on filtering through everything to clear it up. The wind blew all day Saturday, with gust of 60 mph, 4.5 inches of rain.It was a long day, but thankfully no major damage, although clean up will be a pain. The farmers will have some serious concerns with crops and still some power problems around home. I’m sure you have been watching the news, the coast got hit with flooding and some damage, depending on where you were. I have not heard anything specific about Topsail, but Wilmington was not too bad. I’m working on clearing my mind and the tasks at hand. Thanks for the reminder.

Wind in itself has, I find, a disrupting influence on the mind, wayward bound. Add worry and anxious activity into the mix and you have a recipe that sounds like something I might produce in MY kitchen (aka disasterous). Topsail is looking good. Piers are all standing. Beach Shop lost part of the roof and had some flooding. The canopy on the BP station at the stoplight collapsed on the pumps. Otherwise, I haven’t heard anything too awful. Stay well, my friend.
