Sometimes flowers are reluctant to have their picture taken, but insatiable photographers that we are, we insist.

Quote of the day: “People who dream when they sleep at night know of a special kind of happiness which the world of the day holds not, a placid ecstasy, and ease of heart, that are like honey on the tongue.”  –  Isak Dineson

Daily gratitudes:
The wind before the rain
Random bunnies
Day lily buds – and the memory of E-Bro picking, cooking, and eating them, a la Euell Gibbons
Walking
An infinite number of shades of blue

My favorite beach in the whole world.  So happy MKL liked it too. It was wonderful to make new memories, and I came back with an extra-special glow.

Cow Wreck Beach, Anegada, British Virgin Islands.

Quote of the day: “Lies are a little fortress; inside them you can feel safe and powerful. Through your little fortress of lies, you try to run your life and manipulate others. But the fortress needs walls, so you build some. These are the justifications for your lies. You know, like you are doing this to protect someone you love, to keep them from feeling pain. Whatever works, just so you feel okay about the lies.”  –  Wm. Paul Young

Daily gratitudes:
All the hard work going on at Three Leaf Farm
When Kelsea is snuggly
Birthday weekends
My perfume
My super-spicy Chile Relleno Casserole
That it’s Friday

Photo title:  The Most Beautiful Place I Have Ever Stood

Pomato Point, Anegada, British Virgin Islands.

I took this shot the very first time I saw Pomato Point.  The beach was brilliant, wide and empty – I was all alone and I had never seen anything so beautiful.   And this photo isn’t enhanced at all – these were the actual amazing colors.

Quote of the day: “Every new day is another chance to change your life.”  –  unknown

Quote of the day: “Worry compounds the futility of being trapped on a dead-end street. Thinking opens new avenues.”  — Cullen Hightower
