There is always much to celebrate, but some days more than others.  And some days, nothing but champagne will do.

Boulder, Colorado.

Quote of the day: ”There comes a time in every life when the world gets quiet and the only thing left is your heart.”  –  Sarah Dessen

Daily gratitudes:
Women with long white hair
Stargazer lilies
The sounds that chickens make in the mornings
My daily dragonfly sighting
Being able to laugh at yourself when you forget how to spell a simple word you’ve known forever (I had to pick a different word.)

Quote of the day: “The body says what words cannot.”  –  Martha Graham

Daily gratitudes:
The Platte River
Dances with pigeons to “Tequila”
Nice people on the bus
My novel
My spiritual gifts

And as an aside, here are two things I learned today:

–  Deep fried kool-aid actually exists
–  If you fall off your camel, your camel will remain standing above you to protect you from being trampled by your fellow bedouins.

One of my credos is ” If you’ve learned something, the day isn’t wasted.”  Let’s see if I can find at least one new thing every day that I have learned.
