Today’s guest poet – Stephen Crane
Places Among the Stars
Places among the stars,
Soft gardens near the sun,
Keep your distant beauty;
Shed no beams upon my weak heart.
Since she is here
In a place of blackness,
Not your golden days
Nor your silver nights
Can call me to you.
Since she is here
In a place of blacknes,
Here I stay and wait.

Quote of the day: “When we remember that we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained.” – Mark Twain
Daily gratitudes:
Last night’s sunset
The smell of lilac bushes in bloom after a rain
A larger tax refund than I expected
Adults who text like teenagers
Spiritual connections that can never be broken
