I send out waves of light to you
from this, my far distant shore,
growing more distant
daily.
I watch for you
- will I always? -
across endless oceans
with geese bobbing on the surface.
Yes, geese.
They lay
golden eggs
that drop to the bottom of the sea
for which you must dive.
Dive.
but not die.
You have plenty of air
if you will just
remember how to breathe.

Thanks, Jingle – my time is short these days, so I hope to get back to Poet’s Rally soon!
